Subject: Questions about producer agreement


Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I am in an unsigned band and we are currently negotiating some terms with a producer to work on an EP/demo which he is going to shop around to some labels after its completion. He is charging us a reasonable rate, but is also asking for 50% of publishing plus some points.

As far as the 50% of publishing goes, does this sound reasonable to you? What should we be taking into account here? Thanks for you help!
