Subject: Melanie C aka Sporty Spice...help needed for NYC show =)
Hey all,
My name is Lucy. I am taking my little 6 year old friend Mary to see Melanie C (aka Sporty Spice) on October 1st at Irving Plaza in NYC. Mary has cystic fibrosis, which is a fatal genetic disease(to find out more about this illness, please go to http://www.cfhandbook.com). She has been in and out of hospital more than 30 times since birth, and is also going in for more surgery on October 5th. She is so excited about getting to see Mel C (we have tickets already), but it would be a wonderful surprise for her, if we could arrange to meet Mel. I actually live in England, but I came back to NYC to spend time with Mary before her surgery, and I will be taking her to see the show. Mary is a huge Spice Girls/Mel C fan, and she would love to have the opportunity to meet her, which is why I am making this appeal. If anyone out there reading this, has any contacts who may be able to help us make a little girls dream come true, please email us as soon as possible. It would mean so much to all of us.
