Subject: Pro - Lyricist available
I am a pro lyricist, this is all I do. Poetry, novels, editing, journalism, screenwriting and most of all music lyrics. I am free until May 2006. Please e-mail me with requests, description of your work, band, production background or representation.
Make sure you are clear about how much per song you pay and how you compensate. I deliver work fast and it is satisfactory, as my system of work is made to please both music composer and talent.
I ask for some info of what the music means to the composer and I ask about the talent, look, direction, audience. Then I write the lyrics. I write anything form rock to country to ballads, even musical theatre. Compensation is expected, but if you are an individual I can bend my rates for a poor, struggling artist:)
* Style of work I like to write most is country music (Martina Mc Bride) and rock (Gwen Stefani/Ashlee Simpson/Hilary Duff- happy happy girley rock) or Aerosmith. I listen to everything from Siouxie to Cure to Depeche to Pixies, Bangles, Bon Jovi, Josh Groban to whatever is latest on the charts. My fave is Nina Simone, one and only. I speak eight languages and write in four. I learned from the best, grammy winner and composer Irving Gordon - song "Unforgettable" for Nat King Cole
