Subject: Getting started - I need help


I'm looking for advice from anyone willing to give it. I'm new on the scene but I'm a prolific writer and want to make a living from writing music/songs etc. I've submitted a couple of songs that I've written, copyrighted, performed and produced this year (2006) to various unsigned websites but some of you folk out there have prob got some great experiences to relate that will help me more.
