Hey Katie, you should post a few of your lyrics.

I'm a composer. I've been writing with a lyricist from Canada online for the last two years.

We've written ballads, pop, Gospel, horror/thriller, Xmas, novelty, blues, jazz songs.

I became interested in my lyricist after reading several of his poems online. It may work for you - so post away!
