Hi, what do you guys think about online collaboration for musicians? I've just started a site that allows musicians to post tracks for each other (nowRECORDING.com), and there are others like Tonos and Rocket Network that try to bring musicians together and are showing significant growth. Certain things are missing from online collaboration- it can't really be spontaneous, and you never know what you might get, but maybe there can also be tremendous benefits of finding that talent that you can't find locally. Also, in this environment issues like copyrights and work for hire can really be hard to control. Any ideas? Do you think it will ever happen?
